Kalmar

The Father, Primordial of Life

Personality

Kalmar is the brute of the Three of Life. He is a quiet stoic god who, much like the plants he made, finds enjoyment in peace and serenity. He is not all that into working with others, finding it easier to just make sure it is done right. Compared to the other two, Kalmar is their rock, a stable position for them to push off of in situations.

Regarding Mortals

Kalmar is not the largest fan of mortals. Though he tolerates them due to Edhel's insistence, he is more than happy to throw entire cities into the sea or drown them with greenery if they offend him, which doesn't happen often. It is considerably hard to get Kalmar irritated enough to take action.

Likes and Dislikes

Kalmar likes to enjoy the quiet, though he rarely gets it with loudmouths like Vilvarin and Edhel around. He also enjoys growing and tending to his sedentary children, though a single drop of his blood could bring them almost eternal life, he prefers the much more mundane tending practices of gardening. Kalmar also finds a lot of enjoyment in sleeping, a state that he falls into once a millennium.Kalmar also dislikes a vast majority of things. He does not like Edhel, the Child's, creations, he finds them loud and obnoxious, and all too prone to fighting. This coupled with the anxiety of them felling his children brings a great dislike from him. Kalmar's children who exist in the Forest of Hithlum, are near immortal ancient trees that have stood since Kalmar first wandered, and they are also his first children. Their deaths happen once in a century which stirs in him a great rage, though it usually ends in stagnation due to Vilvarin and Edhel's interference. One of the more mundane things he dislikes is having to move. He is a primarily sedentary god, which makes stirring him to action that much harder when it is originally unrelated to him.

Powers

Kalmar is one of the Three of Life which grants him certain powers innately. The prime examples of these power is biomancy, the ability to manipulate the form of most life to create and shape new life. This is often how he stimulates evolution in his plants. He also has near complete control over plant-life, able to speak and hear secrets that they observe. It would not be wrong to say that even the trees have ears when Kalmar is near. This coupled with his manipulation of the plants makes him a dangerous foe in any forest or region that is not devoid of plant-life.His abilities do come with some basic powers like shapeshifting though he often takes the same form over the course of centuries. One of his favorite things to do is slowly change his form to show his own evolution as life should never stagnate.

Vulnerabilities

Kalmar is oddly enough... flammable. Though not the most fatal of things, burning him does lead to his spirit being forced to exit his material body which leaves him out of body for a few centuries as he patches one back together.Kalmar draws a good portion of power from being surrounded by his children, without them he is greatly weakened and also slower than normal. Finding him in a barren stone land would have him struggling against even some demi-gods.

Fears

The death of his children is a debilitating fear that Kalmar faces often. One that manipulates him so well that it is left to Vilvarin and Edhel to control him to stop.A minor fear that Kalmar faces is evolution. Though he is not one to control evolution, he does sometimes face it in his gardens, when he watches his beautiful plants change to something unpredictable. Kalmar, although often okay with the unpredictable, finds it sickening to not have control over what will become.

Weapon and Combat

Kalmar is more a primal fighter, lacking any weapon but his fist and plants, he does not care for fighting fair. He would hurl a boulder at his opponent if need be, just as he would false surrender to another to preserve his body.
